The role will work closely with the founder and senior marketing team to help scale growth while staying true to the brand’s intent and values. Over the last year, the team has grown from 15 to 35, and expect to scale a lot more in the coming years.Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a Digital & Performance Marketing Manager to lead Bloon’s digital growth engine.This role sits at the centre of performance marketing, analytics, and content collaboration.You will be responsible for scaling acquisition while protecting traffic quality, diagnosing performance fluctuations, and working closely with the brand and content teams to translate insight into action.As part of an early stage startup, you will be expected to think deeply, get your hands dirty, and build systems that help the business learn.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for driving growth across the customer journey funnel, from identifying opportunities and barriers for acquisition, to testing conversion strategies, tracking key performance metrics and scaling what works. You will be required to develop a strong understanding of the big picture brand strategy and translate it into actionable ideas across the funnel.1. Performance Marketing & Acquisition- Own paid acquisition across Meta, Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and other relevant platforms - Structure and manage TOF / MOF / BOF funnels - Balance scale, efficiency, and traffic quality in a high-consideration category - Diagnose performance issues across channels and setup solutions - Make informed budget allocation decisions based on data, not just platform recommendations - Recommend and implement strategic website interventions to optimise conversion rate2. Creative & Funnel Strategy- Work closely with the content and brand teams to develop performance-led creative frameworks within the brand guidelines - Guide creative testing across formats - Identify opportunities and barriers across the funnel - Develop funnel strategy for new launches in tandem with ongoing campaigns - Diagnose losses and wins alike, building a deep knowledge of the digital medium in our context3. Analytics, Reporting & Insight- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting across platforms - Track and interpret key metrics: ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, traffic quality, creative performance - Use GA4, Shopify analytics, and platform breakdowns to understand user behaviour beyond last-click attribution - Identify patterns early — both positive and negative — and flag them proactively4. SEO, CRM & Owned Channels (Working Knowledge)- Oversee SEO and emerging AI-SEO efforts in collaboration with content teams - Work with email/CRM to align acquisition with retention and lifecycle strategies - Ensure learnings from paid media inform owned channels and vice versa5. Experimentation & Learning- Design and document experiments clearly (hypothesis → test → learnings) - Maintain a knowledge repository of tests, changes, and insights - Help the team learn from both successful and unsuccessful periodsWho You Are- Bachelor's degree or higher Engineering, Operations, Management or related fields - 5+ years of experience in handling operations and supply chain (D2C experience preferred) - Experience handling people, experience scaling teams - Bonus: Experience working in lean team / startup environment
