Job description: Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements. Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.). Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting best practices. Coordinate with management for financial planning and decision-making. Handle payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance. Professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, etc.) will be an added advantage. 3–5 years of proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting role.
