This role combines hands-on PCB design expertise with the ability to build structured evaluation frameworks for benchmarking intelligent design systems.Offer Details:Mode of work: Fully RemotePay: INR 1.25 lakhs to 1.50 Lakhs Per month (net/take-home)Duration of Contract: 12 monthsNumber of positions: 10Experience: 5+Key ResponsibilitiesDesign power electronic circuits, including DC-DC converters (buck/boost), LDOs, AC-DC/DC-DC power supplies, and automotive systemsDevelop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like KiCad, Altium, or equivalentPerform component selection based on datasheets and design requirementsAnalyze designs for efficiency, ripple, thermal performance, and reliabilityApply PCB best practices, including grounding, routing, EMI, and manufacturability (DFM)Generate manufacturing outputs (BOM, Gerber files, pick-and-place data)Conduct design validation via simulations, calculations, and DRC checksDefine and implement verification frameworks covering:Specification validation (voltage, current, efficiency, ripple)Component compliance (ratings, derating, datasheets)Design correctness (topology and connectivity)Establish PCB layout evaluation standards including DRC/LVS, DFM, thermal and power integrityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to refine design and evaluation processesRequired Skills and Experience:5+ years of experience in power electronics or PCB designMaster’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related fieldStrong foundation in power electronics (DC-DC converters, LDOs, etc.)Must have 2-3 years of experience on tools like KiCad or Altium.Python is preferred .Experience in schematic design and PCB layoutKnowledge of power components (switching regulators, inductors, capacitors)Familiarity with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, or similar)Ability to interpret component datasheetsUnderstanding of DRC, manufacturability, and EMI basicsStrong foundation in power electronics (DC-DC converters, LDOs, etc.)Experience in schematic design and PCB layoutKnowledge of power components (switching regulators, inductors, capacitors)Familiarity with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, or similar)Ability to interpret component datasheetsUnderstanding of DRC, manufacturability, and EMI basicsPreferred Skills Experience with AC-DC power supply designKnowledge of thermal design and power integrityExposure to automotive or embedded systemsFamiliarity with simulation toolsExperience building validation/evaluation frameworksAbility to define measurable design metricsBasic experience with Python or terminal-based verification scriptsAdditional DetailsCommitments Required: 8 hours per day with an overlap of 4 hours with PST.Duration of contract: 12 months; [expected start date is next week]QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in power electronics or PCB designHow to Apply?
