With a rich legacy spanning nearly a century, FICCI is involved in policy advocacy, business promotion, and networking to foster the growth and development of industries.Role OverviewThe HR Officer will support end-to-end non-IT recruitment for FICCI, with a strong focus on hiring talent relevant to chambers, associations, policy, research, membership, events, and administrative functions. The role requires a hands-on HR generalist with strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition (Non-IT)Manage end-to-end recruitment for non-IT roles including policy, research, membership, events, administration, communications, and support functions.Work closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements and role expectations.Source candidates through job portals, professional networks, referrals, and industry-specific channels.Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, offer rollouts, and onboarding processes.Maintain recruitment trackers, hiring MIS, and compliance documentation.HR Generalist ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day HR operations including employee lifecycle management, onboarding, confirmations, exits, and documentation.Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational values.Handle employee queries related to HR processes, policies, and engagement.Support performance management processes and HR reporting.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a key HR point of contact for internal stakeholders across departments.Build strong working relationships with senior leaders, managers, and teams.Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and recruitment partners when required.Communication & CoordinationEnsure clear, professional, and timely communication with candidates, employees, and leadership.Support internal HR communication initiatives and employee engagement activities.Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity while handling people-related matters.Qualifications & Skills4+ years of experience in HR operations and non-IT recruitment.Prior experience in chambers of commerce, associations, NGOs, federations, or similar organisations is highly preferred.Strong understanding of HR generalist functions and recruitment best practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal abilities.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities.Proficiency in MS Office and HR documentation. Educational QualificationGraduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
