With nearly five decades of experience, STS offers strategic sourcing services, including database searches, portal listings, targeted advertising, and executive headhunting.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Headhunter / Field Recruitment Specialist role based in India. The position focuses on direct sourcing of skilled and semi-skilled candidates through field recruitment, headhunting, factory visits, industry networking, trade clusters, referrals, and online sourcing platforms.The role requires hands-on experience in identifying talent directly from relevant factories, workshops, shipyards, construction sites, and allied industries across India. The selected candidate will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for overseas projects, including candidate identification, screening, interview coordination, documentation support, and deployment readiness.You will work closely with international clients and internal teams to understand technical requirements, mobilization timelines, and compliance standards, while ensuring ethical recruitment practices and a positive candidate experience.Minimum 5+ years of proven overseas recruitment experience, preferably in Marine, Construction, or industrial sectorsStrong experience in headhunting and field-based sourcing, including factory and site-level recruitmentAbility to source candidates through direct industry mapping, referrals, online platforms, and databasesExcellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi; South Indian languages preferredSolid understanding of international recruitment processes, documentation, and compliance normsAbility to independently handle bulk and specialized hiring requirementsStrong networking skills and willingness to travel extensively within India for sourcing activitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skillsAbility to work in a target-driven, client-focused, and fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree preferred; practical recruitment experience will be given priority over formal qualifications
