Librarian – Membership Based Library (Visakhapatnam)

We are setting up a new membership‑based library in Visakhapatnam offering yearly, 3‑month, and 6‑month plans. To bring this vision to life, we are looking for a dedicated Librarian to join our team.Responsibilities:Manage daily library operations including membership registrations and renewals.Catalog, organize, and maintain books and digital resources.Assist members in book selection and reading guidance.Track borrowing/returns and maintain accurate records.Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure (computers, AC rentals, etc.).Organize reading sessions, workshops, and community events to build engagement.Requirements:Graduate/Postgraduate in Library Science or related field.Strong organizational and communication skills.Prior experience in library management or educational institutions preferred.Tech‑friendly (basic computer handling, catalog software).Passion for books and community building.
