Head of School

We are looking to induct a dynamic and visionary Head of School for one of our established CBSE/IGCSE school in Vijayawada.This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for driving academic excellence, institutional development, and operational efficiency. The Head of School will represent the institution and work collaboratively with the school leadership team, corporate office, and management to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement across all domains.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day academic and administrative management of the school, ensuring alignment with CBSE and IGCSE board standards. - Provide strategic leadership in curriculum planning, pedagogy, teacher training, and academic innovation. - Ensure the implementation of experiential and inquiry-based learning methodologies that promote holistic education. - Supervise and manage staff recruitment, training, retention, and performance evaluation to build a high-performing academic team. - Drive operational areas such as admissions, budgeting, infrastructure, marketing, statutory compliance, and community engagement. - Build strong relationships with parents, students, and stakeholders, promoting the school’s ethos and brand reputation. - Lead initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes, enrolments, and school culture.Ideal Candidate Profile:- Master’s Degree or Doctorate from a recognized University/Institute. - B.Ed. or M.Ed. from a recognized University/Institute. - Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a school leadership role (Principal / Head of School). - Proven track record of working with CBSE and/or IGCSE curriculum. - Demonstrated experience in establishing or scaling school systems and academic processes. - Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. - Prior experience in a founding team or turnaround role will be an added advantage.Work Location: Vijayawada (Full-time, On-site)This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education leader to guide a reputed institution offering both CBSE and IGCSE curricula, and to contribute to its vision of academic excellence, innovation, and holistic growth.
