The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core (8/9), Azure services, and AI-driven application design, with hands-on experience in Semantic Kernel. The role requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions quickly under tight deadlines. Participate in a kick-off discussion with the Development Lead, who will clarify the scope, expectations, and any dependencies. Collaborate with team members during regular sync calls to share progress, discuss blockers, and align on priorities. Independently troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure timely delivery. Work in a typical agile development environment, contributing to code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. End the day by updating task status and preparing for the next sprint activity. What is the ideal background of a candidate for this role? Some who has worked on Azure and AI development. Core Development: Strong experience in .NET 8/9, C#, and Minimal API development. Azure & Security: Hands-on with Azure App Service, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Managed Identities, and security best practices. AI & Orchestration: Practical knowledge of Semantic Kernel (critical), plus exposure to Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and concepts like vector search, RAG, and embeddings. Telemetry & Monitoring: Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor. Integration & Architecture: Understanding of Microsoft Agent Framework, Teams SDK/Bot Framework, MCP design principles, and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns.
