Quality Engineer

● Be part of a multidisciplinary team to build next-generation software products (full-stack) and solutions; ● Participate in a fully agile development process (scrum and kanban) with frequent releases; ● Review and analyze system specifications and requirements; ● Perform functional, user interface, API and end-to-end tests ● Effectively create test plans, design and execute test cases for new features and review results; ● Create and maintain test case automation scripts (preferably Playwright); ● Analyze issues detected during test execution, clearly report them and work closely with developers to validate fixed issues and software changes; ● Take part of the team's ‘on-call’ rotation, running guidebooks and escalating incidents; Why We’ll Love You ● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or a similar field with practical software engineering experience; ● 5+ years Software Testing experience; ● Proficiency in various manual testing techniques (functional, regression, exploratory); ● Deep understanding of API frameworks and best practices; ● Capable of creating and running SQL queries to assess end-to-end data quality; ● Skilled in identifying and analyzing bugs, collaborating with developers to validate fixes, monitoring CI/CD Pipelines and communicate test failures; ● Communicates effectively with stakeholders and team members to foster a positive QA environment; Capable of creating effective test plans, designing test cases, and developing/maintaining automated UI and service-level tests; ● Champions test reliability, meticulously manages test data, and provides constructive feedback on test artifacts; Why You Will Stand Out ● Ability to work independently while also mentoring junior engineers; ● Ability to perform white-box test, providing feedback on code quality to SWEs; ● Proficiency in advanced testing types (performance, security, accessibility); ● Experience in writing and debugging automated tests (preferably Playwright); ● Have experience reviewing and providing feedback on PRs; ● Knowledge in CI/CD tools and practices;
