We are seeking an innovative, data-driven AEO/GEO Specialist to maximize our brand’s visibility, accuracy, and authority in LLM-powered environments. This role fuses advanced SEO practices with deep expertise in LLMs and the evolving AI-driven content ecosystem. The ideal candidate will ensure the company is discoverable, credible, and contextually represented across AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and emerging AI-powered search experiences.The position requires cross-disciplinary expertise—blending search optimization, AI search behavior analysis, content engineering, and performance tracking—while leveraging cutting-edge tools such as Profound, knowledge graph systems, and schema frameworks to influence generative AI output quality.Key Responsibilities Strategy & Research • Develop and execute a comprehensive AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy aligned with business objectives. • Monitor and analyze LLM (Large Language Model) query patterns, AI (Artificial Intelligence) search trends, and knowledge ingestion sources to identify optimization opportunities. • Conduct competitive AI visibility benchmarking, mapping where and how competitors appear in LLM-generated outputs. • Leverage Profound and similar AI search insight tools to uncover LLM prompt-response biases, entity gaps, and untapped content opportunities.Content Optimization & Knowledge Engineering • Partner with content to produce LLM-friendly, authoritative, and factually precise content. Some may be produced directly through platforms like Profound. • Structure and tag information to improve AI discoverability, using schema markup, structured data, and knowledge graphs to reinforce machine understanding. • Ensure entity alignment across all owned content, aligning brand mentions, product descriptions, and topical authority for consistency in LLM-generated responses. • Experiment with prompt injection, context framing, and content formatting techniques to guide LLM outputs toward brand-preferred narratives.Technical Integration & AI Discoverability • Collaborate with web engineering teams to bake AI-visibility best practices into websites, apps, APIs, and content delivery systems. • Integrate Profound insights into ongoing site architecture and metadata updates for AI-driven query alignment. • Maintain a structured AI content repository for feeding LLMs via open knowledge bases, public APIs, and high-authority data sources. Measurement & Continuous Improvement • Define and track KPIs unique to AI search ecosystems, including LLM brand mention frequency, position in AI summaries, and knowledge panel visibility. • Use A/B testing frameworks to measure the impact of content, structure, and metadata changes on LLM outputs. • Continuously refine strategies based on LLM output audits, Profound analytics, and real-world AI query testing.Key Qualifications • Solid background of 5+ years in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) with strong understanding of its principles, algorithms, data schema, and knowledge graphs. • Deep understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) work including training data, prompt engineering, and semantic search. • Hands-on experience with AI search platforms including knowledge of how LLMs select and present content. Familiarity with tools like Profound, Gauge or similar. • Very knowledgeable on AEO (Answer Engine Optimization and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and how they di^er from traditional SEO. Proven capability to improve brand presence through LLM answers. • Ability to structure content that LLMs will be able to discover, extract and cite in its responses to search queries. • Ability to define and track LLM specific KPIs and use A/B testing to impact LLM outputs. • Understanding of Content Management Systems and web architecture. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital marketing, or related disciplines.
