Job Title: Associate Director, Safety OperationsAs the Associate Director of Safety Operations, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the delivery of safety services to clients globally. Your role will be critical in contributing to global initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables. This is an advanced leadership position that requires strong business acumen, financial management skills, and staff management experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of safety service lines, ability to work in shifts, flexibility to support global time zones, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The key responsibilities include leading and motivating direct reports, developing training plans, monitoring and assessing staff utilization, implementing solutions for poor staff utilization, preparing and presenting bid defense meetings, and contributing to IQVIA internal project team meetings. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline, up to 10 years of relevant experience, including up to 5 years of PV experience, and up to 4 years of experience in managing a workforce of up to 100 employees. Collaborate with other operations specialists to address problem areas and ensure global consistency Lead and encourage direct reports in continuous improvement of departmental work processes Develop and implement training plans to enhance staff skills and knowledge Monitor and assess staff utilization and identify solutions for poor utilization Prepare and present bid defense meetings and contribute to IQVIA internal project team meetings Requirements To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline or allied life sciences Up to 10 years of relevant experience, inclusive of up to 5 years of PV experience and up to 4 years of experience in managing a workforce of up to 100 employees In-depth knowledge of safety service lines Flexibility to operate in shifts Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, direct reports, managers, and customers at a senior level Key Qualifications In addition to the requirements above, the following key qualifications are essential: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline or allied life sciences Up to 10 years of relevant experience, inclusive of up to 5 years of PV experience and up to 4 years of experience in managing a workforce of up to 100 employees In-depth knowledge of safety service lines Flexibility to operate in shifts Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, direct reports, managers, and customers at a senior level
