Head of Sales – Air Pollution Control & ESP | Senior Leadership Role | Mumbai / PuneA reputed Indian engineering company with an established presence in industrial pollution control and capital equipment is looking for a Head of Sales to lead its Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) and Air Pollution Control (APC) business nationally.About the RoleThis is a senior leadership opportunity for a techno-commercial professional who can drive sales growth across India while building the capability to step into broader business leadership over the next 2–3 years. The company serves customers in steel, cement, power, sponge iron, and other process industries where particulate and flue-gas emission control is mission-critical.What You'll DoLead national sales for ESP and related air pollution control solutionsDevelop and execute segment-specific sales strategy across steel, cement, power, sponge iron, and process industriesDrive new customer acquisition and grow key accounts with consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and end-usersCollaborate closely with proposal, engineering, and project teams on techno-commercial offers and bid strategyStrengthen market presence in high-potential regions, including East and Central India (sponge iron and steel demand clusters)Build robust sales processes, pipeline discipline, forecasting systems, and market coverage effectivenessSupport organisational capability building for the ESP/APC vertical over timeWho We're Looking For15–25 years of experience in industrial or capital equipment salesStrong background in ESP, APC, bag filters, scrubbers, boilers, or similar engineered systemsProven track record in large-value techno-commercial sales with institutional customersAbility to engage with plant-level decision-makers, consultants, EPC contractors, and OEMsComfortable working cross-functionally with proposal, engineering, and execution teamsLeadership maturity and ambition to grow into a business management roleCandidates from well-regarded engineering and pollution control companies, with experience in emissions-intensive industries, are encouraged to apply.Location: Mumbai or Pune (pan-India travel required)Why Consider This Role?This is a high-visibility charter in a niche, high-relevance domain tied to environmental compliance, plant modernisation, and industrial expansion.
