Data Readiness and Engineering Specialist At the heart of our data-driven operations, we seek a seasoned Data Readiness and Engineering Specialist with in-depth experience in manufacturing control systems data, authentication protocols, and readiness engineering. This pivotal role ensures that all data ingested from manufacturing systems into our data lake is trustworthy, reliable, and fit-for-purpose. This highly collaborative specialist will partner directly with manufacturing system owners, the CDL data lake team, and business stakeholders to resolve complex data integrity issues. Key responsibilities include analyzing, validating, and authenticating vast datasets from manufacturing systems, identifying gaps and inconsistencies, and implementing rigorous data readiness and authentication protocols to guarantee seamless ingestion. Develop expertise in manufacturing systems, including SCADA, PLC, and industrial data environments. Implement robust data validation, cleansing, and readiness engineering protocols to ensure accurate and complete data sets. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve data integrity issues and optimize data ingestions processes. Provide technical guidance and support to parallel trailblazer rollouts across multiple manufacturing sites. Required Skills and Qualifications: 6–10 years' experience as a data analyst/engineer in manufacturing or industrial data environments. Deep understanding of SCADA, PLC, and manufacturing control systems data. Proven expertise in data lakes, relational database systems, and data processing automation. Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or equivalent scripting for data processing and readiness engineering. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders.
