Key Responsibilities1.Client Interaction and Briefing: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and gather detailed briefs for drafting contracts and agreements. Provide expert advice to clients on legal provisions, risks, and best practices for contracts. 2. Drafting Supervision: Direct and guide junior associates in drafting various types of contracts and agreements based on client briefs. Provide clear instructions and frameworks to ensure the accuracy and relevance of drafts. 3.Quality Control: Review and QC contracts drafted by junior associates for compliance, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements. Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies to ensure high-quality deliverables. 4.Training and Development: Train junior associates on effective drafting techniques, legal language, and industry best practices. Conduct regular workshops or mentoring sessions to improve the team’s drafting skills and efficiency. 5.Process Optimization: Develop and refine internal workflows for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts to improve turnaround time. Ensure adherence to the organization’s standards and guidelines for contract drafting. 6.Legal Research: Conduct research on legal updates and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide added value to clients. 7.Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with the legal team and management to streamline processes and resolve complex client requirements. Provide regular updates on client projects and team performance to the reporting manager.
