Senior Construction Project Leader

Project Oversight We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the way in overseeing commercial ICI construction projects from inception to completion. This key position is responsible for developing comprehensive project work plans, schedules, and milestones; providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery of results. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strict compliance with contract scope, safety standards, budget controls, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Collaboration with site supervisors is crucial to monitoring on-site progress, addressing any field issues, and driving the project forward. Able candidates will maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software, track all project administration tasks, and prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects. Furthermore, this role requires effective communication and relationship-building skills to represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Proactive issue resolution and conflict management are essential to avoiding delays and ensuring project success. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software; prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic solutions that drive business growth and profitability. Requirements Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial ICI construction projects. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks. Proficiency in construction management software and procedures.
