Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. Quality Standards and Compliance: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, process control, and product testing. They will develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure product and process compliance with regulatory requirements. Product Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify product quality. The candidate must identify areas of inefficiency, defects, or deviations from quality standards. Audit and Compliance: Perform audits to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma). This involves identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and perform root cause analysis to identify the source of defects or variations in quality. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent future occurrences. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies. Collaborate with production teams to implement process enhancements and improve efficiency. Supplier Qualification: Assess and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards. Collaborate with suppliers on quality improvement initiatives and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
