Hiring For Bank : Chief Manager - Legal : Corporate Law : Varanasi

Roles and Responsibilities (i) Dealing with references on legal issues received from various departments of the Bank and its associate institutions. (ii) Able to monitor and handle – - Drafting and vetting of various agreements; Handling of creditdocumentation and finalising the same from legal point of view; Handlingcases and advising dealing team before Conciliation Officers, LabourCourts, Tribunals etc. on behalf of the Bank; Advising branches andbusiness units on branch banking issues and customer complaints; Finalisation of plaints, written statements/replies to be filed before courts,DRT, Consumer Forum, Banking Ombudsman etc.; Preparation of draftsof pleadings and comprehensive instructions/briefs to counsel inconnection with litigation involving the Bank and its associate institutions;To coordinate and interact with the external Lawyers for investigation ofthe title of the property and discuss the issues of the title and remedies and obtain absolute clear and marketable Title Certificate; (iii) Providing guidance to branches and business units in criminal cases inprotecting officers and top management personnel from criminal actionsfaced at the instance of customers/Law Enforcement and RegulatoryAuthorities. (iv) To consider, advise and guide other departments in connection with thestamping, registration of documents and other legal matters in line with inwith modifications / amendments as notified by Govt. Authorities. (v) To draft / vet reply to letters, notices received from customers, theirAdvocates or from any statutory Authority or Bank or Financial Institution inconsultation with t. (vi) Other legal related work assigned by the Legal Department and management of the Bank from time to time. (vii) Guiding the junior colleagues in preparation and maintenance of MIS, documentation and handling other issues raised by business units/branches.
