Product Strategist - Treasury (GTM)We are seeking an ambitious, high-energy professional to join the launch team of our new corporate finance solution. You must possess a deep, hands-on domain expertise in cash forecasting, corporate treasury workflows, liquidity positioning, and working capital cycles.Instead of managing day-to-day corporate treasury operations, you will act as a structural architect. You will translate real-world financial pain points, sub-ledger mechanics, and bank telemetry systems into clear, scalable system specifications. You will collaborate directly with our engineering and design teams to build highly precise, automated modules that change how finance leaders manage corporate liquidity.You will own the conceptual solution design, translate treasury pain points into precise product specifications, and act as our primary evangelist to engage, validate, and sell our solution to global Treasury and Finance Leaders.Key ResponsibilitiesBlueprint the Solution: Define the logical architecture, data ingestion requirements, and variance analysis loops for a modern, multi-currency short-term forecasting engine.Write Product Specifications: Translate real-world treasury workflows (e.g., ERP sub-ledger extraction, MT940/CAMT file parsing, aging-schedule logic) into actionable product requirement documents (PRDs) for our engineering team.GTM & Market Validation: Conduct deep outreach with Corporate Treasurers, CFOs, and Finance Leaders to validate features, uncover systemic pain points, and co-design a solution that commands immediate market demand.Competitive Analysis: Dissect the limitations of legacy Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and current market offerings to sharpen our product’s competitive edge.Strategic Advisory: Act as the subject matter expert during key enterprise GTM sales cycles, confidently demonstrating deep treasury domain mastery to prospective buyers.What We Are Looking For (Requirements)Domain Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience in Corporate Treasury, Liquidity Management, or Financial Systems Management within mid-to-large enterprises.Cash Positioning: Execute daily global cash positioning by extracting and parsing bank logs (MT940/CAMT.053) across partner banks.Model Ownership: Maintain and refine the direct-method short-term cash forecasting model, pulling dynamic AR/AP data from our ERP.Variance Analysis: Run daily and weekly Actual vs. Forecast variance loops to identify systemic biases and improve accuracy.Liquidity Management: Proactively identify upcoming deficits or excess cash; coordinate daily sweeps, overnight investments, or credit line drawdowns.Data Automation: Partner with technology teams to automate data ingestion from local and international sub-ledgers.Forecasting Execution: Proven track record of building and managing complex, real-world short-term cash forecasting models (1-30 day horizon) utilizing direct methods.Tech & System Literacy: Deep comprehension of how Tier-1 ERPs (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday) handle AR/AP sub-ledgers and how bank files cross over network rails.The Builder Mindset: Eager to step away from repetitive operational corporate cycles to architect an industry-disrupting software product from scratch.Strong Communication: Elite interpersonal skills to confidently run validation workshops and strategic advisory sessions with C-suite and executive finance leaders.Preferred Qualifications (Standout Extras)Prior experience working in a FinTech startup, product advisory role, or an elite financial consulting firm (e.g., Big 4 Treasury advisory).Professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), EY CAFTA (Certificate in Applied Finance, Treasury & Analytics) or a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) background with a corporate finance focus.An active professional network of Treasury Managers and CFOs within India or global shared service hubs (GCCs).
