The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation frameworks, and must be passionate about delivering high-quality, bug-free software products. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on all builds.Identify, log, and track bugs using standard tools like JIRA / Trello / ClickUp.Collaborate with the development team to understand features, requirements, and acceptance criteria.Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test documentation.Validate API responses and perform backend testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release reviews.Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for frontend components.Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and QA efficiency.Maintain automation scripts (if applicable) using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.Qualifications2–3 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and defect life cycles.Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).Experience with API testing tools (Postman / Swagger).Familiarity with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium is a plus.Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience testing mobile apps (iOS & Android).Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Basic understanding of version control (Git).Knowledge of performance testing using tools like JMeter.Experience working with Agile / Scrum teams.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Pay range and compensation packageWork on cutting-edge products with a talented tech team.
