We're building software that makes complex procurement processes simple and efficient.About the RoleWe're looking for a Product Designer to own design end-to-end for Astra. You'll be the first in-house designer, transitioning from agency support to building a robust internal design function. This is a high-ownership role where you'll shape the product experience from research through to polished interfaces.What You'll DoOwn the full design lifecycle: user research, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designsBuild and maintain a scalable design system for AstraCollaborate closely with product and engineering to define requirements and translate them into intuitive workflowsConduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisionsCreate interactive prototypes to communicate and test ideas quicklyWork with frontend engineers to ensure design fidelity in implementationWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience as a Product DesignerStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, not just visual polishExperience with B2B or enterprise SaaS products—you understand complex workflows and data-dense interfacesProficiency in FigmaExperience with prototyping tools and conducting user researchComfortable being the sole designer and making independent judgment callsExcellent communication skills—you can articulate design rationale to non-designersNice to HaveExperience with procurement, finance, or operations softwareExperience establishing design systems from scratchBackground working in early-stage or high-growth product teams
