Image/Video AI Engineer

Role summaryWe’re hiring a Generative Production Engineer to build and run the systems that produce high quality image and video assets for premium brands. You will own the pipeline end to end, from inputs and creative controls through to QA, finishing, and delivery.You will work closely with the Production Lead, translating creative direction into repeatable workflows and making sure output stays consistent at scale.Please DO NOT apply unless you have experience working with Image and Video models. What you’ll do-Build and maintain production pipelines for generating product and lifestyle visuals using the latest image and video models.Partner with the Production Lead to convert references, creative direction, and brand rules into structured templates, presets, and brand kits.Design workflows that handle multiple inputs: packshots, CAD, 3D renders, product metadata, brand guidelines, references.Implement consistency controls across large batches: identity, lighting logic, camera language, composition rules, grading.Run model and workflow evaluations: A B testing, quality scoring, failure analysis, regression checks.Create QA standards and automated checks for common issues: anatomy, fabric artefacts, logos, text, reflections, shadows, product accuracy.Build tooling for versioning and reproducibility: prompts, seeds, configs, model versions, output logs.Integrate outputs into delivery systems: storage, naming conventions, tagging, handoff formats, review loops.Support production sprints and help unblock delivery when timelines are tight.Keep pace with new model releases and improve pipeline cost, speed, and quality over time.What you’ll deliver-A reliable generation pipeline that can ship consistent assets daily.Brand kits that lock in look and feel: references, do’s and don’ts, prompt libraries, negative libraries, settings.A QA framework with clear pass fail rules and escalation paths.Documentation that makes production reproducible across the team.Measurable improvements: higher realism, fewer artefacts, faster turnaround, lower cost per asset.Required experience-Proven experience building production workflows for generative image and video outputs.Strong technical ability with automation or scripting.Comfort with APIs, job queues, storage, and basic infrastructure concepts.Strong visual judgement: lighting, composition, materials, realism, brand consistency.Understanding of common generative failure modes and how to mitigate them.Experience with post production finishing workflows (Photoshop, After Effects, DaVinci, or equivalent)Organised delivery habits: versioning, file hygiene, naming, and documentationNice to have-Experience with 3D and rendering workflows (Blender, Cinema4D, Unreal, Houdini).Experience with ComfyUI node graphs or similar modular pipeline tools.Familiarity with DAM and PIM systems, ecommerce workflows, and creative approval tools.Experience with evaluation frameworks, dataset curation, and human in the loop QC.Motion craft: camera language, pacing, and edit rhythms for short form ads.Working styleHigh ownership and high taste.Comfortable with ambiguity, but disciplined in turning it into systems.Direct communicator who can explain trade offs clearly.Enjoys building systems that others can run confidently.
