Procurement Analyst

Need : Tech Procurement Analyst Location : Pune, India - REMOTEDuration : Long TermRole Summary:As a Technology Procurement Analyst, you will support strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across IT categories including Software, SaaS, Infrastructure and Services. You will collaborate with global Category managers (USA timezone), and technology suppliers to identify value, ROI, and savings opportunities, emphasizing quality, innovation, competitiveness.The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of different licensing models, cloud (at least +1 experience in either AWS, Azure, or GCP required) and software sourcing strategies. The candidate will play a critical role in analyzing spend data, performing market analysis, and leading the end-to-end RFx process.This role also includes hands-on involvement in contract lifecycle management using iCertis/Coupa, signature routing via DocuSign, and basic contract analysis to support legal and procurement compliance.Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Sourcing SupportAssist Global Category Managers in executing sourcing strategies across IT spend categories.Perform supplier research and market intelligence gathering to support negotiations and supplier selection.Support end-to-end sourcing projects including supplier engagement, business case creation, and contract execution.Strong knowledge of Software Asset Management / license managementContract Management & ExecutionProvides subject matter expertise on technology contracts and terms including Master Framework Agreements, Software License Agreements (including SaaS, EA), Maintenance and Support Agreements, Product Agreements, to formulate strategic recommendationsUse iCertis to manage contract workflows, track obligations, and maintain metadata accuracy.Route contracts for signature using DocuSign, ensuring correct approval paths and timely execution.Review and analyze procurement and legal clauses (e.g., renewal terms, termination rights, liability, data protection) with guidance from senior team members.Commercial & Financial AnalysisConduct financial modeling and commercial analysis of IT contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities.Benchmark supplier pricing and terms against market standards.Support development of ROI and value realization frameworks for technology investments.Collaboration & Knowledge SharingWork closely with global client teams and practice leadership to align procurement activities with business goals.Contribute to the development of market insights and thought leadership content based on cross-client sourcing activity.Participate in Agile project execution to drive efficiency and responsiveness in procurement processes.Skills & Qualifications:Core SkillsStrong analytical and research capabilitiesBasic understanding of IT procurement and sourcing processesEffective communication and stakeholder engagementRegards,Anand SwaroopSaicon Consultants, Inc.Email : URL: LinkedInWBE/MBEInc. 500 Company 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009Ranked #1 /" Fastest-Growing Area Businesses/" - Kansas City Business JournalRanked in Top 10 of Corporate 100 - Ingram'sCMMI Level 3 Assessed
