Senior Data Analyst – Power BI & Microsoft Fabric

They use a Microsoft Fabric data warehouse along with a Power BI reporting platform to enhance their analytics capabilities.They are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst who can take ownership of reporting, analytics, and data strategy initiatives. The Senior Data Analyst will need to interact and work with a 3rd party provider who will be maintaining the dashboards.Role Overview:This is a senior-level role requiring a highly independent and proactive analyst who can manage dashboards, perform advanced data analysis, and contribute to the company’s overall data strategy. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with minimal supervision and driving outcomes end-to-end.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of Power BI dashboards, including:Rebuilding existing dashboards (if required)Maintaining and optimizing current reportsTroubleshooting and fixing any issuesImproving performance and cost efficiencyPerform large-scale data manipulation and analysis using Microsoft Fabric and related toolsDeliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support internal stakeholders and business decisionsContribute to and help shape the data strategy, including:o  Identifying gaps and opportunitieso  Providing recommendations for improvementso  Supporting scalable data practicesWork independently with minimal supervision, managing priorities and delivering high-quality outputsRequired Skills & Experience:5–8+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a similar roleStrong hands-on expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboard development)Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platformsStrong proficiency in SQL and data manipulationExperience handling large datasets and complex data modelsAbility to independently manage tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholdersStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsBeneficial to have:Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.)Exposure to data warehousing conceptsExperience in consumer goods / retail / beverages industryKey Traits We’re Looking For:High ownership and accountabilityAbility to work independently with minimal guidanceStrong business understanding and strategic thinkingProactive in identifying improvements and opportunitiesWhy This Role:Opportunity to work with a UK-based client, with end-to-end local payroll and HR management handled in your own countryHigh-impact role with ownership of critical data systemsExposure to modern data stack including Microsoft Fabric
