Branch Head – Agency Business Partner (ABP) Channel To lead the ABP channel in a defined branch/area, build & manage a strong partner‐led distribution network, deliver sales & revenue targets, ensure quality & persistency, develop leadership, and ensure operational & compliance excellence. Key Responsibilities :: Spearhead growth of ABP distribution: recruit, activate, retain and mentor Agency Business Partners (ABPs) & Financial Consultants (FCs) under them. Lead a team of Front Line Sales (FLS) / ABP / Agency Development Managers to achieve branch/area‐wise sales targets, product mix goals, persistency, case count etc. Ensure high quality of business: focus on policy persistency, documentation quality, customer retention, minimizing cancellations & lapses. Provide coaching & field support: accompany ABPs on field visits, provide feedback, conduct training & enablement to improve productivity. Develop & implement local strategies aligned with broader ABP channel objectives: market penetration, promotional programs, product mix, talent acquisition Required Skills & Qualifications :: 07-10 years of experience in Life Insurance / BFSI, especially in ABP / tied agency / partner distribution roles. Proven track record of team handling / leadership roles, delivering targets through partners / agents. Good knowledge of insurance products, persistency, regulatory norms. Strong communication, coaching, interpersonal & negotiation skills. Strategic mindset + analytical skills; ability to interpret data & drive action.
