Deputy Director –Centre for Counselling and Psychological Wellness (INSIGHT)Key Responsibilities:Provide individual and group counselling support to students, faculty, and staff Address mental health concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, academic pressure, and interpersonal issues Design and conduct awareness programs on mental health, emotional well-being, and stress management Lead crisis intervention and coordinate with external healthcare professionals when required Develop and implement preventive and rehabilitative mental health programs Oversee mental health support for hostel and residential students Manage day-to-day operations of the Centre including team coordination and service delivery Collaborate with academic departments and external experts to promote a supportive campus environment Organize training and development programs for counselling staff Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of counselling services and wellness initiatives Develop and implement policies aligned with ethical and professional standards Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to legal and ethical practices Manage resources, maintain records, and prepare reports for institutional review Build partnerships with external mental health professionals for comprehensive support Ensure inclusive and culturally sensitive mental health servicesQualifications & Eligibility:Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred) Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in counselling, mental health services, or institutional wellness programs Experience in crisis management, student counselling, and program implementation is essential Prior experience in academic institutions or counselling centres will be preferred Strong understanding of mental health practices, ethical standards, and counselling frameworksFor Application -
