Job Description – Head of Department (Psychology) Position: Head of Department (Psychology) Qualification: Ph.D. in Psychology (Clinical / Organizational / Applied Psychology or allied areas) Experience: Minimum 8+ years of teaching and research experience with proven academic and administrative leadership. Key Responsibilities: Provide academic and strategic leadership to the Psychology Department. Plan and implement curriculum as per University/Regulatory norms. Mentor and develop faculty; guide PG/PhD research and publications. Oversee teaching, assessments, timetable, and student performance. Lead accreditation, compliance, and departmental documentation. Support student mentoring, counselling, and overall development. Manage departmental resources, budgeting, and infrastructure.
