L&T Technology Services is #hiring for Senior Discipline Lead Design Engineer (Rotating Equipment & Packages) in Vadodara - Permanent!!JD:Position - Senior Discipline Lead Design Engineer (Rotating Equipment & Packages)Experience - 13 to 17 Years of ExperienceLocation: VadodaraJob Type - PermanentIndustry: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petro chemicalQualification - BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech MechanicalJob Details:Job Description -Senior Discipline Lead Engineer (Rotating Equipment & Packages)Mechanical Engineer with 13+ years of experience in design and detail engineering of Rotating Equipment, Packages such as Centrifugal/ Reciprocating Pumps, Centrifugal / Reciprocating / Screw Compressors, Blowers, Fans, Steam Turbines, Gas Turbine, Gear Box, Lube Oil System, Dry Gas Seals and Supporting System, Mechanical Seals and Flushing Plans, various types of Material Handling Equipment etc. in compliance with international codes and standards, project specifications, & general specifications prevalent in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Chemicals & Other associated industries.Candidate must possess Strong working knowledge of various International Codes and Client Specifications.Details:• Reviewing Client's technical requirements and specifications and incorporating those into project designs.• Preparing Technical Specifications, Datasheets, Material Requisitions, Purchase Requisitions, Performing Vendor Offer Reviews, Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Document Reviews.• Shall be responsible for resource optimization, timely completion and quality of deliverables of representing teams.• Mentoring junior engineers.Minimum proficiencies and qualifications:• B.E. or B.Tech ( Four Year Degree Course) in Mechanical Engineering.• 13 + years of professional experience performing design and detailed engineering of Rotary Equipment and Packages as mentioned above.• Working knowledge of design codes including API Codes.
