Automation Lead

Role & Responsibilities: - Conduct feasibility studies for Paint shop and General Assembly M&E Automation and control systems. - Develop specifications and technical bid packages, evaluate bids, and create schedules. - Implement Electrical & Control architecture for various systems including Robotic, Conveyor, and Transfer systems. - Collaborate with shop ME to design electrical and control systems for Paint M&E. - Prepare budget estimates, review with functional lead, and handle procurement processes. - Evaluate bidders, manage project schedules, and ensure timely system implementation. - Review and approve Electrical and Controls drawings, oversee system buyoff, and manage contract closure. - Proficiency in PLC, HMI, VFD, and Robot programming for new and existing M&Es. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation). - 5-7 years of total experience with 3-4 years in auto co. paint shop or General Assembly shop. - Hands-on experience in implementing Paint Control, Robotic systems, and Conveyor systems.
