The ideal candidate will oversee theproduction and integration of visual effects, motion graphics, and video editing, whilealso helping develop workflows that blend AI-generated visuals with live-action footage.You will play a key role in creating seamless visual storytelling by combining traditionalVFX techniques with emerging generative AI technologies. This includes compositingAI-generated assets into live footage, ensuring realistic integration through techniquessuch as rotoscoping, match-moving, and camera tracking. This position requiressomeone who can balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities,ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient production pipelines.Key Responsibilities• Production & VFX Supervision• Lead the execution of video editing, VFX, and motion graphics projects for film,OTT, streaming, and digital media content for localised output• Oversee the integration of AI-generated visual elements into live-action footagewhile maintaining realism and visual continuity• Guide VFX workflows including rotoscoping, match-moving, 3D camera tracking,compositing, and motion graphics.• Ensure seamless blending of AI-generated assets, digital environments, and live-action footage.• Conduct quality checks to ensure visual consistency, accuracy, and adherence toclient specifications.AI-Powered Visual Production for localisation• Develop workflows that integrate Generative AI tools with traditional VFXpipelines.• Work with AI-generated imagery, textures, and visual elements and integrate theminto edited sequences.• Evaluate and implement AI-driven tools for visual generation, backgroundreplacement, and scene enhancement.• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities where AI can improveefficiency and creative output.• Stay updated with emerging AI tools used in film, VFX, and digital productionpipelines.Department Collaboration• Work closely with Editorial, Audio, Localization, and Operations teams to ensureseamless delivery of localized content.• Collaborate with creative teams to interpret project briefs and translate them intocompelling visual outputs.• Provide technical guidance and feedback to editors, VFX artists, and motiondesigners.• Participate in operational meetings and contribute to improvements in workflowsand production pipelines.Quality Assurance & Delivery• Ensure all deliverables meet global OTT, broadcast, and streaming platformspecifications.• Monitor technical aspects including frame rates, aspect ratios, color profiles,and compression formats.• Identify potential risks in project delivery and proactively propose solutions.• Maintain Adapt’s quality standards for visual storytelling and post-productionexcellence.Qualifications• 8+ years of experience in video editing, VFX, and post-production.• Experience working on Film, OTT, Streaming, or digital media productions.• Proven experience integrating visual effects with live-action footage.• Strong understanding of post-production workflows and VFX pipelines.• Experience working with AI-generated visual tools or emerging AI productionworkflows is strongly preferred.• Ability to work in a remote, global team environment and manage multipleprojects simultaneously.• Graduate in any field; education in Film, Animation, VFX, or Media Production is aplus.• Candidates should have their own setup, PC/MacTechnical SkillsCandidates must have strong experience with the following tools:§ Adobe Premiere Pro§ Adobe After Effects§ Adobe Photoshop§ Additional required technical expertise:§ Rotoscoping§ 3D Camera Tracking§ Match Moving§ Compositing and motion graphics• Visual effects integration with live-action footage• Video compression and media delivery formats• Broadcast and OTT technical specifications• Basic Knowledge of Comfy UI is a plus.• Preferred additional knowledge:• Generative AI tools used in visual content creation• AI-based image and video generation workflows• Background replacement and digital compositing techniques• AI-assisted post-production toolsSoft Skills• Strong creative and technical problem-solving abilities• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Leadership and mentoring capability within creative teams• Strong attention to detail and visual quality standards• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously• Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI-driven media technologies• Weekend availability depending upon need is also mandatory for this position• Fluent English (written and spoken)• Hindi or additional Indian languages are a plusIdeal Candidate• The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking VFX professional who understands bothtraditional post-production techniques and emerging AI-powered creativeworkflows.• They are passionate about pushing creative boundaries by combining AI-generatedvisuals with live-action footage, while ensuring professional production quality forglobal audiences.• This person thrives in a remote, collaborative environment and is excited to helpbuild the future of AI-enhanced media localization and visual storytelling.Impact of the Role• The Video & VFX Lead plays a key role in shaping Adapt’s Visual Localisationproduction capabilities by bridging traditional VFX craftsmanship with cutting-edge AI technologies.• By developing workflows that combine AI-generated visuals with live-actioncontent, this role will help Adapt deliver innovative, scalable, and visuallycompelling content for clients across global media platforms.
