Staff Accountant (International Accounting)

Staff AccountantLocation: Vadodara, India (Work from Office)Shift Hours : 12.00 noon to 9.00 pm IST (5 days a week)This PositionWe’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel across the global and handle day-to-day bookkeeping.ResponsibilitiesMaintain an accurate record of financial transactions.Supporting the monthly close process with journal entry preparationPreparing monthly account reconciliationsAssisting with tax filings, specifically VAT returns.Analyzing financial data to ensure proper accounting related to banks, prepaids and accruals.Adhering to all the accounting rules and regulations.Performing other duties as required.Process improvements.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in commerce required2+ years accounting experience (US / Europe Accounting)Expertise with tally and google sheetsWorking knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.Working knowledge on VAT, GST and TDS FilingsExcellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skillsFlexible to work for all branches of the organizationAbility to meet deadlines.A close observation of accuracy.Ability to handle confidential information.Outstanding ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance requiredProficient in Word and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational and analytical skillsAble to read and understand technical forms and financial reportsWillingness to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsSage Knowledge is a plus.VikingCloud is an equal opportunities employer.
