Billing Engineer

Company: Alembic Real Estate (Alembic Group)Designation: Executive - Site BillingLocation: VadodaraJob Responsibilities- Prepare and review project cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and rate analysis for civil works. - Manage billing processes including client billing, subcontractor billing, and internal cost tracking. - Verify and certify work measurements at site for accurate billing. - Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely submission of bills. - Maintain and update cost records, progress reports, and billing documentation. - Ensure compliance with civil engineering standards, contractual terms, and company policies. - Assist in budget preparation, cost forecasting, and variance analysis. - Resolve billing discrepancies and support audits when required.Required Qualifications- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). - Experience: 3 to 6 years in estimation and billing for real estate or infrastructure projects. - Certifications: Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel; exposure to SAP or similar tools preferred.Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of civil engineering standards and construction practices. - Proficiency in rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation techniques. - Excellent numerical and analytical skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Good communication and coordination skills.
