Job Description Role Overview The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be responsible for driving revenue growth across domestic and international markets, leading the entire sales and business development organization. This role requires a growth-oriented leader with strong BPO industry exposure, deep client relationships, and proven success in building and scaling high-performance sales teams. You will own the P&L of the new business, set the go-to-market direction, and position the organization as a digital-first CX transformation partner for global clients. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue Leadership & Growth Strategy Own the sales and revenue P&L across all business segments (Domestic, International, Digital CX, GCC, and New Services). Develop and execute a growth strategy that expands the organization’s presence in India, the US, UK, Middle East, and APAC. Drive both organic and strategic growth through direct sales, partnerships, and alliances. Identify new service lines and customer experience transformation opportunities (AI, automation, analytics, GCC setups). 2. Business Development & Client Acquisition Lead a high-performing sales team focused on enterprise and mid-market client acquisition. Build strong C-level client relationships to win multi-year, multi-vertical outsourcing deals. Identify, pursue, and close large BPO, CX, and digital transformation contracts. Lead end-to-end bid management , RFP/RFI processes, and commercial negotiations. 3. Sales Operations & Pipeline Management Build a robust pipeline across domestic and international markets with strong forecast accuracy. Establish sales processes, CRM discipline, and data-driven governance reviews. Collaborate with Finance, Delivery, and Solutions teams for proposal design and pricing strategy. Track KPIs such as revenue growth %, deal win ratio, lead conversion rate, and average deal size. 4. Strategic Partnerships & Market Positioning Forge alliances with technology partners, consulting firms, and digital enablers to enhance service capability. Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and global BPO summits. Work closely with Marketing to build brand positioning, thought leadership, and demand generation campaigns. 5. Leadership & Team Building Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization across geographies. Set performance goals, incentive structures, and career growth plans for sales teams. Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability. Requirements Education: MBA or equivalent from a reputed institute (Marketing or International sales). Experience: 18–25 years of proven leadership in sales and business development within the BPM/BPO industry. Deep understanding of domestic and international BPO markets, pricing models, and delivery frameworks. Demonstrated success in winning large outsourcing deals (multi-crore/multi-million) and building long-term client relationships. Strong network with CXOs, sourcing advisors, and global enterprises. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills. Exposure to digital CX, automation, AI-led transformation, or GCC build-outs will be an advantage.
