Designation  : Business Development Manager (Upwork) Experience Range :  5+ years What is the work? Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for international clients on assigned projects Manage day-to-day client communication through emails, calls, and regular status updates Handle and resolve client escalations in a timely and professional manner Coordinate with internal teams (development, design, QA, etc.) to ensure smooth execution and delivery Track project progress, monitor milestones, and ensure deadlines are consistently met Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on satisfaction and retention Proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and take swift corrective actions Ensure clear documentation and reporting of project status and deliverables What skills and experience are we looking for? Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT software development company Proven experience managing teams of developers and cross-functional teams Strong experience in client communication and stakeholder management Hands-on experience dealing with international clients Demonstrated ability to handle project escalations and conflict resolution Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Preferred : Project management certification.
