Designation : Business Development Head (Web, Mobile & AI Solutions) Experience Range : 8+ years What is the work? Define and execute a global business development strategy for IT services including Web Development, Mobile App Development, AI/ML solutions, and digital transformation projects. Identify new revenue opportunities across America, Europe, and other international markets. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and predictable revenue growth. Lead solutioning efforts by collaborating with technical and delivery teams to design scalable web, mobile, and AI/ML solutions that address client business needs and strengthen proposal competitiveness. Translate client business requirements into technical solution frameworks, working with architects and engineering teams to define scope, technology stack, timelines, and effort estimations. Engage with prospects in a consultative capacity, understanding their business challenges and proposing technology-driven solution Participate actively in pre-sales engagements, including discovery discussions, technical presentations, and solution walkthroughs to build client confidence and improve deal conversion. Oversee the development of technical proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and pitch materials. Ensure that all sales collateral clearly communicates the company’s technical strengths, delivery capabilities, and differentiation. Continuously refine pitch decks, case studies, and solution narratives to reflect evolving technologies and market needs. Lead and mentor the international sales and business development team, driving performance against revenue targets. Develop and manage sales forecasts and KPIs to closely track performance and push the team toward achieving defined revenue and sales targets Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current sales processes and recommend improvements. Independently identify, pursue, and secure large enterprise and mid-market clients globally. Build strong relationships with C-level executives, CTOs, Product Heads, and technology decision-makers. Lead contract negotiations and deal closures, ensuring favorable commercial terms. Drive business development efforts through freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, and similar platforms. Establish structured approaches to winning large and long-term engagements from global freelance platforms. Ensure disciplined use of CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking . Maintain accurate reporting on sales progress, client engagement, and business development performance. Identify and pursue government tenders, enterprise projects, and large-scale digital transformation opportunities . Present business development strategies, pipeline health, and growth opportunities directly to the executive leadership team . Collaborate with leadership on long-term growth initiatives and market expansion strategies. What skills and experience are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Technology, or related field, MBA preferred. 8+ years of experience in IT services business development. Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role driving international sales. Proven experience selling web development, mobile app development, SaaS, AI/ML or digital transformation services. Strong understanding of technologies such as Web application development frameworks, Mobile app development (iOS, Android, cross-platform), AI/ML solutions and automation, SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications, Enterprise integrations and digital transformation. Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills. Excellent negotiation and deal closing capabilities. Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders. Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities. Experience mentoring and scaling business development teams. Ability to guide early and mid-career sales professionals. Comfortable managing personal sales quota while leading a team. Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel internationally when required.
