Designation : Business Development Executive Experience Range : 3+ years What is the work? Attend and support client and business development discussions. Capture requirements, summarize key points, and translate them into actionable plans. Follow up with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity. Manage and optimize company profiles on platforms such as Upwork and other business development marketplaces. Ensure profiles are aligned with business priorities, service offerings, and positioning. Monitor performance metrics (visibility, conversion, ratings) and recommend strategic improvements. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketplace activities align with broader business development goals. Assist leadership in evaluating and driving new business opportunities. Conduct targeted research and prepare briefs to support decision-making. Use AI-powered tools to enhance research, generate insights, and create supporting materials. Collaborate with internal teams to gather inputs, proposals, and technical estimations. Ensure smooth communication across departments to prevent bottlenecks and delays. Take ownership of ensuring initiatives and opportunities progress without delays. Track deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines; escalate issues when required. Prepare requirement briefs, client notes, and concise business updates. Support leadership with presentations, reports, and progress summaries, leveraging AI tools where relevant. Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in client-facing contexts. AI-savvy — ability to effectively use AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, and productivity. Strategic thinking with the ability to turn insights into actionable steps. Familiarity with Upwork and other online marketplaces (strategic management focus). Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/project management tools. Minimum 3 years of successful direct sales experience within the IT outsourcing sector, focusing on North American and European markets. Proven track record in consistently securing and closing high-value IT projects through direct client engagements. Demonstrated expertise in managing inbound leads and proactive outbound sales strategies. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Experienced in managing and closing enterprise-level deals. Existing network and relationships that facilitate accelerated revenue generation.
