This is a multifaceted role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to bridge the gap between core accounting, complex payroll structures, and rigorous statutory compliance. As an Associate in the APC division, you will sit at the heart of our service delivery. You will be responsible for managing multiple client accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance. You will act as a vital link between our junior execution team and the Delivery Managers, ensuring that every deliverable meets the "Advith Standard."Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Review Oversee and review the end-to-end accounting processes for a portfolio of diverse clients. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, including the preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Perform deep-dive reviews of general ledgers, reconciliations, and schedules prepared by junior resources. 2. Payroll Management Supervise the payroll cycle for clients, ensuring accurate computation of earnings, deductions, and net pay. Review payroll registers and ensure alignment with employment contracts and local labor laws. Manage the integration of payroll accounting into the main financial books. 3. Compliance Management Ensure 100% statutory compliance for clients, including but not limited to GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and PT. Review periodic returns and filings before submission to regulatory authorities. Stay updated on changing regulations to provide proactive compliance advisory to clients and internal teams. 4. Team Supervision & Delivery Support Mentor and review the work of junior resources, providing constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and accuracy. Assist Delivery Managers in resource planning, workflow optimization, and meeting client SLAs. Act as a point of escalation for technical queries from the junior team.Candidate ProfileQualification:Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). Experience:0 to 2 years of post-qualification experience. Freshers with a strong articleship background in mid-to-large size firms are encouraged to apply. Technical Skills:Strong grasp of AS/Ind-AS, Taxation laws, and Payroll regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel is essential. Soft Skills:Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously. Strong communication skills are required for internal coordination and client interaction.
