Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a PE Deal Origination Associate with a sharp mind, strong communication skills, and the drive to turn conversations into real deals.This is a full-time, front-line role for someone exceptional at cold outreach, confident presenting to executives, and energized by building pipeline from scratch. You’ll be on the front lines of growth—initiating conversations, building relationships with business owners, and helping convert opportunities into closed transactions across Caprae’s platform and portfolio.This is not a passive sales or research role. You’ll learn how private equity actually works by doing it.ResponsibilitesConduct high-volume, high-quality cold outreach (up to ~20 hours per week)Book meetings with founders, CEOs, and business owners across industriesSupport and, over time, lead sales and deal conversationsHelp craft and deliver compelling narratives around Caprae’s offeringsWork closely with senior leadership to prioritize and pursue high-value opportunitiesTrack, manage, and report on outreach pipeline, meetings, and conversion metricsAssist in select account management and client success conversations post-closeContribute to brand positioning, investor relations, and PR initiatives as neededWhat we look forStrong cold-calling and outbound communication skills—clear, confident, and conciseComfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and building rapport quicklyHighly motivated, autonomous, and performance-drivenExcellent written and verbal communicationComfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environmentsStrong interest in entrepreneurship, private equity, or financeFinance education strongly preferredMust be strong with numbers—this is not a fluff roleCulture FitWe strongly prefer recent graduates or early-career candidates.This role is ideal for smart, hungry, coachable people who want to learn private equity from the ground up.
