Job Title: Openstack Support Engineer with strong background of OpenStack, Linux, Terraform and VMware Location: 100% REMOTE - Offshore India Employment Type: Long Term Contract Contract Length: Conract based 12+ MonthsJob Overview: We are looking for a skilledOpenStack Support Engineerwith a strong background inOpenStack, Linux systems, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and VMware . The ideal candidate will provide technical support, manage cloud environments, and troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid cloud infrastructures. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud platforms supporting enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-daytechnical support for OpenStack environments , including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Manage and maintainLinux-based systemsthat support OpenStack services. Support hybrid cloud environments, including integration withMicrosoft AzureandVMwareinfrastructure. UseTerraformto automate infrastructure provisioning and updates. Diagnose and resolve issues across compute, network, and storage layers in OpenStack. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance automation, performance, and scalability of cloud platforms. Maintain system documentation, procedures, and support materials. Monitor system performance and ensurehigh availabilityanddisaster recoveryconfigurations are effective.Required Skills and Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in OpenStack administration and support. Strong expertise inLinux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)administration and scripting. Working knowledge ofTerraformfor infrastructure automation. Solid understanding ofVMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)environments. Exposure toMicrosoft Azurecloud services and hybrid connectivity. Proficient in troubleshooting networking, storage, and virtualization-related issues. Experience with tools such as Ansible, Git, or Jenkins is a plus.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
