Senior SAP Basis Consultant (S/4HANA & Cloud)

Job Title: Senior SAP Basis Consultant (S/4HANA & Cloud) Experience: 8+ Years Location: India (Remote)Core Responsibilities Lead SAP Basis administration for SAP S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance across DEV, QA, PRE-PROD, and PROD (N+1 landscapes). Own end-to-end system lifecycle management including installation, upgrades, kernel patches, SP/EHP upgrades, and system refreshes. Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Basis and HANA DB administration Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and Cloud ALM Deep knowledge of performance tuning and capacity planning Proven experience with N+1 landscapes and retrofit transports Hands-on experience in configuring SSO , SSL cert installation, Fiori administration and configuring Load balancer/SAP web dispatchers Administer and optimize SAP HANA databases, including: Memory management and sizing, CPU and disk utilization analysis, Table growth and data volume management HANA Studio / Cockpit, Expensive SQL trace, Load, memory, and thread analysis Proactively monitor and resolve HANA DB performance bottlenecks impacting business processes. Performance Tuning & System Optimization Lead SAP application performance tuning for dialog, background, RFC, and batch workloads. Analyze and optimize: Work processes, Memory parameters, Buffer tuning, RFC queues and background jobs Ensure system readiness for peak business loads and go-live events. SAP Cloud ALM & Monitoring Implement and manage SAP Cloud ALM for: System monitoring, Business process monitoring & Integration. Configure alerts, dashboards, and KPIs to proactively identify system and performance issues. Use Cloud ALM to support cutover and production monitoring. Transport Management & N+1 Landscape Expertise Own and govern SAP transport management across complex N+1 landscapes. Perform retrofit transport activities during parallel development tracks, upgrades, or hotfix cycles. Support ChaRM / CTS+ processes where applicable.
