PLM Functional Specialist (Food & Beverage Domain Consultant, F&B)

About the Role We are seeking an experiencedFood & Beverage Functional Consultantto support our growing PLM practice. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise inF&B product development, formulations, quality processes, and regulatory compliance , along with exposure to digital systems used in product lifecycle management. This role will work closely with cross‑functional teams and global clients to drive functional requirements, solution design, and overall process excellence.Key Responsibilities Providedomain expertiseacross end‑to‑end F&B product lifecycle workflows (R&D, NPD, Quality, Regulatory, Specifications, Compliance). Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate them intofunctional requirementsand specifications. Collaborate with PLM, ERP, QMS, and LIMS teams during requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and validation. Lead and support workshops, client discussions, training sessions, and internal knowledge‑building activities. Work with cross‑functional teams includingR&D, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Manufacturing . Support digital transformation initiatives informulation management, specifications, artwork/compliance, and product data management .Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inFood Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry , or related discipline. 10+ years of experiencein the Food & Beverage industry across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Product Development, or similar domains. Strong understanding ofF&B product lifecycle , formulation systems, and regulatory standards. Hands-on experience with IT systems such asERP, PLM, QMS, LIMS, or specification management tools . Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.Good to Have Exposure to PLM platforms such asCentric PLM, SAP PLM, Agile PLM, Trace One , or similar. Experience indigital transformation , process re‑engineering, or IT implementation projects.
