About the Role Responsive is looking for aSenior Quality Engineer (Performance)to ensure thescalability, reliability, and efficiencyof software systems. You willdesign and execute performance tests , identify bottlenecks, and driveoptimization strategieswhile collaborating with cross-functional teams in anAgileenvironment. What You’ll Be Doing Performance Testing & Optimization:Design, execute, and analyzeload, stress, endurance, and scalability testsusingJMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner . Optimize system performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks inweb, API, and database layers . Test Automation & CI/CD Integration:Develop and integrateautomated performance testswithinCI/CD pipelinesfor continuous validation. Ensure seamless execution of performance tests inpre-production and production-like environments . Monitoring & Analysis:Utilize tools likeNew Relic, AppDynamics, or similarto monitor system performance. AnalyzeCPU, memory, disk I/O, and network latency metricsto diagnose and resolve performance issues. Collaboration & Agile Practices:Work closely withdevelopment, QE, and DevOps teamsto defineperformance requirements and acceptance criteria . Participate indesign reviews, Agile ceremonies, and performance tuning efforts . Process Improvement & Best Practices:Continuously enhanceperformance testing methodologies , stay updated on emerging tools and trends, anddrive knowledge sharing within teams . What We’re Looking For Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience: 5+ yearsof experience in performance testing and optimization. Skills, Qualifications & Ability: Strong expertise inJMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, and API performance testing . Proficiency inscripting (Java, Python, Bash)andcloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) . Hands-on experience withCI/CD integration, system tuning, and performance monitoring . Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Why Join Us?
