Role Overview The Audit & QA Manager will primarily own customer audits and qualification workflows, ensuring Tilda meets external compliance, security, and quality expectations, while ensuring platform-level audit readiness, validation traceability, and quality system alignment. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Compliance, requiring strong technical depth in software systems and AI.Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Audits & Qualifications (Primary Focus) Own end-to-end customer audit and qualification processes (security reviews, due diligence, questionnaires) Lead responses to customer questionnaires, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery Coordinate cross-functional evidence gathering across Engineering, Product, and Operations Act as the primary point of contact for customer audits and follow-ups Proactively identify gaps and drive remediation to meet customer and regulatory expectations 2. Audit & Compliance Management Support external audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO) and maintain audit readiness Track audit requirements, manage timelines, and coordinate with external auditors Maintain documentation, policies, and controls aligned with compliance frameworks Support development of internal audit and quality review processes aligned with company maturity and risk 3. AI Quality & Model Evaluation Define and implement fit-for-purpose QA frameworks for AI systems, including model evaluation, validation, and monitoring Establish metrics and processes to assess accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI outputs Partner with Engineering to implement guardrails (e.g., validation layers, confidence thresholds, human-in-the-loop review) Support audit and customer conversations around AI reliability, explainability, and risk mitigation Ensure AI systems are explainable, traceable, and defensible in audit and customer contexts 4. Software Quality & Engineering Collaboration Work closely with Engineering to embed QA and compliance into software development workflows Contribute to process design across release cycles, testing, and validation Translate technical system details into clear, audit-ready documentation and responses Ensure alignment between product development practices and audit/compliance requirements5. Cross-Functional Coordination Act as a bridge between Engineering, Product, Legal, and GTM teams for all audit and qualification activities Drive alignment on timelines, deliverables, and priorities Facilitate regular check-ins to track progress and unblock dependencies 6. Platform Audit Trail & System Controls Oversight Own oversight of platform-level audit trails and system controls Monitor role/permission changes, configuration changes, privileged/bulk actions, and access anomalies Ensure audit logging remains enabled and effective across releases Verify audit trail functionality following system updates 7. Validation & Traceability (GxP / Part 11) Ensure alignment across URS, FS, RTM, and validation deliverables Maintain end-to-end traceability for audit trails, e-signatures, and data integrity controls Support and review validation strategy and impact assessments Ensure validation scope reflects system functionality 8. Risk Management & CAPA Integration Apply risk-based decision-making to audit findings and system changes Document rationale and ensure traceability of decisions Escalate to CAPA, audit, or oversight processes as appropriate Track remediation activities through to completion 9. Training & Access Control Alignment Ensure system access is granted in alignment with defined processes and system controls Align training records with audit expectationsQualifications 5+ years of experience in audit, QA, or compliance roles within SaaS, software, or AI-driven environments Strong understanding of software development processes, systems architecture, and engineering workflows Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, including model evaluation, validation, or quality frameworks, with ability to assess and support audit-defensible outputs Proven experience managing customer audits, security questionnaires, and due diligence processes Experience with system validation, traceability, or audit readiness in regulated or compliance-driven environments Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in customer-facing contextsNice to Have Experience in healthcare or regulated environments Background in security, risk management, or governance Experience working with engineering and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear)Success Metrics Timely and successful completion of customer audits and qualifications High-quality, consistent, and efficient questionnaire responses Strong customer confidence in Tilda’s security, compliance, and AI quality Scalable QA and audit processes aligned with product and engineering workflows Demonstrated audit readiness of platform (documentation, validation, and controls inspection-ready) Timely identification, tracking, and closure of audit findings and compliance gap
