Quality Assurance Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Title: Junior Quality Engineer (ISO Documentation – TÜV SÜD Experience Preferred)Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per monthExperience Level: 0–5 yearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a Junior Quality Engineer with hands-on experience or training in ISO documentation and certification processes, preferably with exposure to TÜV SÜD audits and standards. The candidate will support quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment, focusing on PPAP, APQP, 8D problem-solving, and metrology inspection to ensure product quality and compliance with customer and certification requirements.Key Responsibilities- Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities and maintain required documentation - Prepare and submit PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documents - Participate in 8D problem-solving for internal and customer complaints - Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections as per control plans - Handle and operate standard metrology instruments, including: - Vernier calipers - Micrometers - Height gauges - Dial indicators - Bore gauges - Go / No-Go gauges - Profile projector / CMM (basic level) - Ensure proper calibration, storage, and handling of measuring instruments - Identify, document, and report non-conformances - Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D methodology) - Assist during internal audits, external audits, and TÜV SÜD certification audits - Maintain ISO documentation, records, and compliance reports - Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issuesRequired Qualifications- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field - Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and 8D methodologies - Experience or training in ISO documentation and certification handling (preferably TÜV SÜD) - Hands-on exposure to inspection and metrology instruments - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & basic GD&TPreferred Skills- Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards - Basic understanding of SPC and MSA - Strong documentation and reporting skills - High attention to detail and problem-solving ability - Willingness to work on the shop floor environmentContactHari KaruppaiyaPhone: +91 9940030621WhatsApp: +91 9940421142
