Civil Design Engineer

Position: Electrical Design Engineer / Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Control Panel Engineering Department: Electrical Design – Control Panels Experience Required: Senior Role: 5 to 10 Years Junior Role: 2 to 3 Years Location: Tirupur Key Responsibilities: Design and develop control panel layouts , wiring diagrams, and schematics as per customer specifications and industry standards. Create electrical drawings using CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent). Select appropriate electrical components like contactors, relays, PLCs, breakers, etc., based on application and load requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations (IEC, NEC, IS, etc.). Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve design issues and ensure manufacturability. Conduct design reviews , cost optimization, and risk assessments for new and existing panel designs. Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and update documentation as per change requests or project needs. Support troubleshooting and testing of control panels during production, if required. Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams for technical clarifications and approvals.
