Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by identifying bugs, validating fixes, and ensuring that products meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform automation testing to ensure software quality Analyze requirements and create effective test plans, test cases, and test scripts Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Report, document, and track defects/bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. Collaborate with developers and the product manager to resolve issues Validate fixes and conduct retesting and regression cycles Work with automation testing tools (Selenium/TestNG, Cypress, etc.) Provide clear and concise test reports to the team Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Proven experience as a Software Tester / QA Engineer Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and testing methodologies Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.) Knowledge of SQL for database testing Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) is a plus Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Speak with the employer
