Job Description:

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Workday Support Analyst – Payroll, Time & Absence to provide day-to-day operational support for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules. This role focuses on maintaining system stability, troubleshooting issues, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring smooth payroll and time operations.The ideal candidate will have hands-on Workday configuration experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders in resolving system issues and improving processes.Key Responsibilities• Provide ongoing operational support for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules.• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, configuration errors, and data discrepancies.• Support change management activities related to Payroll, Time, and Absence processes.• Assist with system configuration updates, including business processes, eligibility rules, and security roles.• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement minor enhancements.• Support testing activities (UAT, regression testing) for system updates, patches, and releases.• Monitor integrations and assist in resolving integration or data flow issues impacting payroll or time tracking.• Maintain system documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.• Assist with Workday release management, ensuring payroll and time features are reviewed and tested.• Provide support during payroll cycles and time tracking operations to ensure smooth processing.Qualifications• 4+ years of Workday experience, preferably supporting Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules.• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and troubleshooting.• Familiarity with payroll operations, time tracking processes, and absence management workflows.• Experience supporting system updates, enhancements, and issue resolution in Workday environments.• Ability to translate business issues into system solutions and support configuration updates.• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder support skills.• Workday certifications in Payroll, Time Tracking, or Absence are a plus.Preferred Experience• Experience supporting multi-state payroll environments.• Exposure to Workday release testing and operational support models.• Experience working in enterprise or high-growth organizations.• Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) for HRIS support.Internal NotesRole Details• Remote role (must work EST hours).• 3-month contract (possible extension but not guaranteed).Must Haves• Change management support for Payroll, Time, and Absence updates.• Strong technical troubleshooting and configuration skills.• Ability to prioritize operational support vs enhancement work.• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders.• Ability to provide process improvement suggestions and system best practices.
