ETL Test Engineer -(Extract, Transform, Load)Job Description & Skill set : -SQL -Expert levelof knowledge in core concepts ofSQL and query . Lead and mentor a team of ETL testers, providing technical guidance, training, and support in ETL tools, SQL, and test automation frameworks. Create and review complex test cases, test scripts, and test data for ETL processes . ETL Automation- Experience inDatagap , Good to have experience in tools likeInformatica, Talend and Ab initio . Execute test cases, validate data transformations, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across source and target systems. Experience in query optimization, stored procedures/views and functions. Strong familiarity ofdata warehouse projects and data modeling . Understanding ofBI concepts-OLAP vs OLTPanddeployingtheapplications on cloud servers . Preferably good understandingofDesign, Development, and enhancementofSQL serverDW using tools (SSIS,SSMS, PowerBI / Cognos / Informatica, etc.) . Develop and maintain ETL test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Integrate automated tests into theCI / CDpipeline to ensure continuous validation of ETL processes. Azure DevOps/JIRA- Hands on experience on any test management toolspreferably ADO or JIRA . Agile concepts - Good experience in understanding agile methodology ( scrum, leanetc.). Communication - Good communication skills to understand and collaborate with all the stake holders within the project.
