Offshore Systems Engineer – VMware & AzureLocation : India Contract Type : Contract Start Date : ASAP️ About the Role We’re seeking a highly skilledOffshore Systems Engineerwith deep experience inVMware virtualizationandMicrosoft Azurecloud technologies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, stays ahead of emerging tech trends, and can drive innovation across infrastructure and cloud platforms. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our offshore systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across virtualized and cloud-based environments.Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manageVMware-based infrastructureacross offshore environments. Support and enhanceAzure cloud services , including virtual networks, VMs, storage, and identity. Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud systems. Stay current withemerging technologies , recommending and implementing upgrades or new tools. Ensure compliance with security and operational standards. Provide Tier 2/3 support and incident resolution for offshore systems. Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.Required Skills & Experience Proven experience withVMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter , and related tools. Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft Azure , including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud setups. Familiarity withPowerShell ,Terraform , or other automation tools. Understanding ofnetworking ,firewalls , andsecurity protocolsin offshore environments. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams. Passion fortechnology trends , with a proactive approach to learning and applying new solutions.Preferred Qualifications Azure or VMware certifications (e.g.,AZ-104 ,VCP ) Experience incontainerization(Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure toDevOps practicesand CI/CD pipelinesharry@ // +31202417315
