Job Description:
Purpose of the Job: Academic Advisors play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission - they directly work with teachers and schools to ensure that our system is effectively implemented to achieve the desired learning outcomes. We are looking for highly competent professionals who are excited by the idea of democratizing quality teaching tools and techniques to students and teachers in Affordable Private Schools. Key Responsibilities : ● Build capacity by training and coaching School leaders, Academic coordinators, and teachers in LEAD partner schools to drive implementation of the LEAD academic system that delivers excellent student outcomes. ● Support and monitor LEAD School academic system execution in partner schools through regular observations and data-driven conversations. ● Share insightful and meaningful reports at regular intervals to showcase student and teacher performance, and interventions that are being carried out. ● Build academic relationships with school owners, principals, academic coordinators, and teachers ● Collaborate with other functions in the organization to effectively solve problems that hamper partner school’s experience with LEAD. ● Proactively gather insights from the field and feed them back internally to improve the LEAD academic system. ● Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating with large and diverse teams. ● Strong training and facilitation experience in Pedagogy and Curriculum implementation Ideal Experience Profile : ● Education - Any Bachelor's degree (B.Ed, M.Ed preferable) ● 3 years in an academic support role, OR ● 3-5 years of K-10 teaching experience (Teacher, Principals, Academic coordinator), OR ● 1-2 years of fellowship experience ( eg. Teach For India) and 3-4 years of post-fellowship ● 2+ years experience of managing teacher teams ● EdTech or SchoolTech industry background in academic operations/ academic consultant roles. ● Ability and flexibility to travel 15-20 days a month
