Senior/Lead VCF Consultant (m/f/d)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior or Lead VCF Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will participate in design, build and manage reliable, scalable and secure enterprise-grade environments on top of the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform and integrate with 3rd party systems. You will be in a specialized expert role, who assists customers to manage their traditional and modern apps by providing a complete set of highly secure software-defined services for compute, storage, network. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to innovation and implementation efforts.Key Responsibilities• Build and deploy greenfield VCF environment through automation• Design and implement seamless VCF upgrades of infrastructure and services• Implement integration of extensible services and platforms and ensure compliance with high security standards including inventory, access control, monitoring and reporting• Ensure stability, reliability and high availability of the services• Optimize the build and deploy processes by automation solutions• Gather, analyze and automate responses of key performance indicators, logs and alerts• Work closely with PMs, architects and development teams to define, plan and execute project plans, requirements and objectives.• Take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables• Lead and mentor other team members to ensure customer requirements, quality and best practices are met.• Stay current with industry trends and lead internal initiatives in regards to optimizations and enhancements of new product versions, current solutions, frameworks and processes.Required Qualifications• Expertise in VMware and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).• Knowledge with Networking, Protocols, OSI model, DNS.• Knowledge with Security and Cryptography, CA, AD.• Administration and troubleshooting experience with Linux-based systems.• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in multi-national setting.• Independent and self-driven individual with ability to adapt and learn new products and technologies quickly.Preferred Qualifications (highly valued)• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).• Experience and/or certifications in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform and VMware product portfolio.• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).• Experience working with customers across the EMEA region.• Experience in solution design definitions or adjustments.Why Join Us• Work on cutting-edge cloud technologies with a high-performing team and influence solution decisions based on engineering best practices.• Work in respectful environment with focus on open communication, team work and opportunities for growth.• Competitive compensation, benefits, and a remote-first work culture.
